The 2014 Think Beyond Plastic innovation competition for disruptive solutions to the global plastic pollution crisis is open.

We are looking for businesses, innovation   projects, disruptive technologies and solutions swith proven reductions to plastic pollution. All ideas must be able to lead to solutions at scale. Qualified participants must have a well-articulated idea or operating business that may be seed or early-stage. Businesses must have a viable business proposition, as well as sustainable business practices.

Selected finalists will be eligible to enter the Business Accelerator and receive business mentor ship, investment guidance and support and related professional services. Value of prize packages total over 25k. 

Awards

Most Innovative Business

Awarded to a business with existing revenues, strong infrastructure and positive environmental impact. 

Most Innovative Business Idea

Awarded to an exciting idea, technology or emerging business without existing revenues, with demonstrated innovation leadership.  

Most Innovative Emerging Business

Awarded to an emerging business with strong environmental promise and a solid business infrastrcture, which may or may not be generating revenues yet.
