RelishMBA

Abstract

RelishMBA is an online recruiting platform for MBAs, MBA recruiting companies, and Career Services at MBA schools, designed to enhance and facilitate the on-campus recruiting environment and streamline off-campus recruiting processes. RelishMBA caters to the services most important to companies and MBAs – better analytics and search matching functionality, integration with on campus processes, modern and intuitive design, easily available company information and MBA resources, and earlier connections to support more informed hiring and career decisions. We generate revenue by charging companies and Career Centers for access to platform products and features, primarily through annual subscriptions.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

MBA recruiting is inefficient, fragmented, and highly competitive, and both companies and MBAs have no reliable, accessible, centralized way to research, connect with, and promote themselves to potential targets.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Data Analytics, bringing modern/intuitive design to an industry that's technologically outdated, is directly complimentary to the very specific MBA recruiting environment. Because our customers are asking for these services/features to better prioritize their efforts and produce better long-term hiring decisions that increase their ROI and create the most long-term value for their company.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We will leverage our beta launch with 28 companies to expand to schools that those 28 customers also recruit at and at schools we have an introduction with from Darden. We will also expand from our MBA and alumni network, tradeshows, conferences. direct sales, social media, and online marketing. We will consider expanding beyond the MBA market.
