What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Steven Walther has invented a toothbrush that solves a major problem - brushing too hard. Many of us are prone to scrubbing, rather than gently brushing, our teeth. The negative effects of this practice can be felt long after we put the brush down. Forceful brushing often results in gum recession and tooth sensitivity, which may require reparative surgery. In fact, it’s estimated that more than 1 billion people across the globe have done damage to their teeth and gums through aggressive brushing. The Toof-inger Brush has a one of a kind handle that leaves just enough space for a 2 or 3 finger grip. By ensuring the brusher uses a "pinch grip" this innovative toothbrush removes the ability to brush too hard, while cleaning your teeth.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

We approach healthy brushing from, literally, the opposite end. Nearly all of the technological improvements made to toothbrushes revolve around the head and the bristles . Our innovation looks past the “symptoms” of tooth sensitivity and gum recession, to address the “source” of forceful brushing; the full-handed grip we use to hold a toothbrush. The Toof-inger Brush's patent pending handle is an improvement on the current design. The Toof-inger Brush serves the purpose of cleaning your teeth, and it will reduce the risk of gum recession. Compared other options, The Toof-inger Brush offers more benefit.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Our primary advantage is that we are at the leading edge of this innovative concept; a first mover advantage. We have built a scalable infrastructure which will require minimal cost during periods of growth. Our team will continue to diligently execute our education strategy, expanding consumer awareness. We are improving our channels to market, with the goal of partnering with a major toothbrush manufacturer.
