Abstract
bSteps is a Florida based corporation that aims to make a difference in the dancewear industry by providing solutions to dancewear challenges faced by dancers all over the world. The founders of bSteps, having an extensive background in the field of dance, envisioned a less painful alternative to heels and a more fashionable alternative to jazz shoes. To accomplish this, they incorporated bSteps.
Unlike mainstream companies in the industry that adhere to the status quo of selling dance heels and/or jazz shoes, bSteps is a rebel company set out to defy the status quo by incorporating all the desired elements of dance shoes into a hybrid flat design. Our shoes are carefully designed to address longstanding universal concerns expressed by dancers including, but not limited to, monotonous designs, comfort, sole inconsistencies, practicality and fashion. The company has developed original insole and outsole designs, which have been carefully engineered to incorporate health and performance benefits as a mean to help maximize dancers' experience and performance.

Our customers are segmented into various categories which include: dancers, dance studios, secondary and postsecondary educational institutions, dance teams, and dance stores.
What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?
In an effort to alleviate footwear challenges faced by dancers across all levels of experience, bSteps has combined all the desired elements of dance shoes into a hybrid flat design carefully engineered to be comfortable, versatile and fashionable, all the while remaining a true, high quality dance shoe.
What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?
All bSteps dance shoes incorporate the company's original insole and outsole designs aimed to reduce the adverse effects associated with high-heeled shoes. The insole was thoroughly crafted to incorporate forefoot, arch, and heel support. Likewise, the outsole was carefully structured to enable flexibility for pointing of the foot, enhance flow of movement, and allow outdoor wear. The bSteps outsole compostition puts an end to the inconvenience faced by dancers of having to carry their dance shoes everywhere they go by allowing indoor and outdoor wear. Lastly, our collection encompasses a wide variety of unique and stylish designs through which dancers can stand out in the dance floor while expressing their unique personalities and styles of dance. The proposed benefits of the insole and versatile outsole built in each of our shoes, combined with a trendy appearance, make bSteps shoes an unparalleled choice of footwear for dancers.

We currently hold the IP rights to the outsole, which can't be replicated.
