Viza Vent
Abstract
There are 15-20,000 fires a year caused by clogged dryer vents that is why I have created the “Viza Vent”.
The “Viza Vent” is clear, flexible, heat resistant tubing that would replace our tin foil accordion dryer vents. Clogged vents push our dryer to work harder, which increases the chance of fire, drives up our power bills and leaves our clothes damp, wrinkled and less desirable to wear. This also has a more user friendly way of connecting to the dryer instead of the “Knuckle Bleeder” clasp we all are accustomed to.
“Viza Vent” lets you see any lint build up or items disrupting its normal air flow causing the aforementioned problems. We can all see clearly the “Viza Vent” is a user friendly product that will reduce our chance of fire, save money, time and patients while making sure we look good in our everyday lives.
No matter if you own or rent, everyone needs a “Viza Vent”.

Who is your customer?
Our customer is literally every household that owns a dryer, laundry mats, apartment dorms, hotels, motels, anywhere a dryer is used.
What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?
The Viza Vent lets you see the current status of your dryer vent, if it is clogged or not. This product would save time, money and lives as there are thousands of dryer vent fires each year.
What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?
The ability to see the current status of airflow coming from your dryer, locate any disruptive material or lint that may be causing the vent to clog.
Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?
We will have a strong marketing campaign, and have multiple ways to market it through manufacturers, name brand businesses that produce dryers, word of mouth, having this product come with every dryer sold. The advantage is there is nothing else on the market like this.
